Air Fryer Turkey Breast

Air fryer turkey breast is seasoned with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, and thyme, then cooked until juicy with a crisp, well-seasoned exterior. A 15-minute rest helps keep the boneless roast tender and easy to slice.

Ingredients

  • 2.5 lb turkey breast roast boneless, fully thawed, netting left on
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp dried thyme

Equipment

  • 1 5- to 6-quart air fryer

Method

  1. Preheat a 5- to 6-quart air fryer to 350°F for 5 minutes.
  2. Pat the turkey breast dry.
  3. Rub the turkey breast all over with the olive oil.
  4. Season the turkey breast evenly with the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dried thyme.
  5. Place the turkey breast in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook at 350°F for 45 to 60 minutes, turning it halfway through, until a thermometer inserted into the thickest part reads 165°F. Begin checking at 45 minutes; cooking time varies with the roast and air fryer.
  7. Transfer the turkey to a cutting board and rest for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove the netting.
  9. Slice and serve.

Notes

For the juiciest slices, check the thickest part of the roast with a thermometer and let the turkey rest before cutting. Refrigerate leftovers for 3–4 days or freeze them for longer storage. No dietary swap is needed for this naturally gluten-free recipe.
