Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine
  • 3 cups apple cider
  • 0.33 cup brandy
  • 1 apple medium, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange medium, thinly sliced
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 cups club soda chilled
  • 4 cups ice

Equipment

  • 1 3-quart pitcher

Method

  1. In a 3-quart pitcher, stir together the white wine, apple cider, and brandy.
  2. Add the apple, orange, and cinnamon sticks.
  3. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours and up to 8 hours.
  4. Stir in the club soda.
  5. Fill glasses with ice.
  6. Pour the sangria over the ice.

Notes

For best flavor, add the chilled club soda just before serving. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 2 days; freezing is not recommended. For an alcohol-free variation, use dealcoholized white wine and omit the brandy, replacing it with extra apple cider.
