Notes

Pro tip: If your brisket is already very saucy, start with 1 cup barbecue sauce in the saucepan and add more only if needed—this keeps the sliders from getting soggy. Store assembled sliders covered in the fridge up to 3 days; reheat in a 325°F (163°C) oven until hot. Freezing: freeze brisket mixture only (up to 2 months), then reheat and assemble fresh. For a dietary swap, use reduced-fat cheddar and a lower-sugar barbecue sauce to lighten the calories while keeping the flavor profile.
